Default New headlights...I can see the light!!

Finally broke down and tackled installing new Sylvania Silverstar Ultras this weekend. Wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be (I've got the duals not the quads). I didn't need to remove the grill, but did have to remove the top bolts and tilt it in order to remove the headlight assy. Took about 90 mins total. Drove her to work the next morning and was very pleased with the output. Now I can at least tell that my headlights are on! Got all the "how to" info from this forum. Thanks guys!

on my '09 QC has quad lights

the drivers side, the headlight unit gets moisture in it
so i bought a new one through the Parts Dept about 6 months ago
at the same time i bought the 4 bulbs with the Silverstar Ultras

i still have not replaced anything, i wanted to wait until after the 6,800 mile vacation that i do every year, i just returned from it last week

i will tell you, if you buy a headlight unit, don't get it through the dealership, ( unless you know an dealership employee ), go online & save a lot !!!

GTYankee - I should've stated that I only replaced the bulbs, not the entire headlight unit. I'm a little concerned over moisture though as when I removed the old bulb housing, there is a red/orange rubber ring that goes between the bulb housing and the headlight itself. I'm assuming they prevent moisture from entering the headlight unit, so I was very careful to "squish" them as evenly as possible when replacing the new bulbs. Time will tell.
