Default Tranny ticking

I have a ticking in my tranny (as far as I know that's where its coming from). When I drive it is a constant tick when I am on the throttle. But if I am going what ever speed and throw it into Neutral and stay on the throttle no more tick. So that's as far as I have gotten. I have looked underneath for any visual signs but nada.

Any thoughts?

Yeah that's a plan, ill take it to a stealership and go in for diagnosis 50 times and still not fix it

I'm curious if anyone has had this issue. I have heard a few 1500 on the road with the same issue. Never had the chance to ask as we were in traffic.

So bump if anyone has any info! Thanks.

Sorry I have been out of town. Anyways Iv recently been told it could be an exhaust leak from the passenger manifold.

Basically I will be driving down the road with the throttle open and driving normal speed and the ticking noise will happen. and if I throw it into nutral with the same amount of throttle open the ticking stops (which makes me think its the tranny)

When I had my oil changed the tranny fluid was good as well as the rear diff.
