Duratracs. Both times we got snow last year they were great on my JK... Okay so our winters are lame. They are also great in rain. Going to put them on my Dodge this winter too.

Last year I did a lot of searching for a dedicated winter tire. After pricing out the Nokians because I had them on my other truck and my wife's car I went with Blizzaks. There is no way Nokians are worth double the price.
I downsized from 20 to 18s, P265/70R-18 Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1 . This was the smallest difference I could find in the overall tire height compared to the stock 20s.
For wheels I went with ATX Storm which are Teflon coated. The finish held up perfectly for the first year.

I find the Blizzaks great, really quiet. But they have this caveat, the first 55% of the tread is the sticky winter compound the remaining 45% is a standard winter tire compound.

I would get them again based on last year's performance. I would love Nokians but ouch on the price.

I've got Blizzaks on the stock rims for the winter months. 10x better than all seasons....but, last winter in Calgary there was snow on the roads for maybe 10 days total?

pro comp xtreme mud terrains, 35x12.5's .....not that great really typical mud tire in winter needed 4 wd a lot...tossed 450 pounds in the bed and made a huge difference, dont think i used 4wd after that...we had a bad winter last year.typical winter morning haha
