Default Plasti-dip + Matte clear coat???

Has anyone done this yet? Or has anyone thought about doing this? I am having a problem with peeling due to the bumper vibrating in the wind and causing peeling. Also this is my fault, but when I do some mild off-roading and get my wheels dirty the dirt seems to stick in the pores of the plasti-dip causing them to look dirty even when I scrub them. the second picture is of my wheel after I had to change a tire and I touched up the areas that were taken off. You can see the difference in the color. Another thing is the door handles which most people seem to have problems with the peeling as you use them. I am thinking if I use a flat clear it might stop all the peeling and discoloration.

It will flake off as soon as it dries. They will expand and contract @ different rates. Like putting clear coat over a decal. Its going to crack no two ways around it.

Use tire foam to clean them, it works great. Just don't use rim cleaner or it will dissolve off of the rim.
