MY Ram was sprayed with graffiti
luckily it was green water based paint that was used

I was told to first use acetone & several clean rags, starting in location where it is sort of hidden
the acetone will raise the paint & build up is certain to happen quickly
after you get a area paint free, use a good soap & water to help neutralize the acetone
then move on to another area.
when you have done enough & need a break, use a hose & clean soapy water with a microfiber brush & rinse it good

when your sort of happy with your work
it is time to break out the paste cleaner & microfiber towels
then there are 2 other paste products that were used with more cloths
Then he broke out 2 different polishing pads & 2 more paste products
i didn't have much swirl & i am happy with the job

I cleaned off most of the graffiti myself & then i went to a auto body shop that was closed, 2 of the workers were just hanging around & bbqing & sipping suds
I paid one of those guys a small chuck of money & he & i finished what needed to be done

Stump, any idea where the over-spray may have came from?

None! Problem is I'm a technical sales rep and travel the entire province of Alberta. In the past month I've been literally from one end of the province to the other. I visit a ton of industrial areas and most likely it happened while visiting one of them.

Yeah, that sucks! My buddy had this happen to his Harley awhile back. White over-spray while in his driveway. No neighbors home, no line painting of the road by the highway guys, nothing! we still can't figure it out.

I dont know how bad yours is. But when my 06 had overspray on it, it looked mstte black in certain light. But i just used a good ol claybar and then topped of with a polish and wax, good as new. Took forever but it was definately worth it.
