Any towing shop can help you in selecting the correct mount and drop.

There are a few things I do not comprise with on vehicles. 1) tires, 2) brakes and, 3) towing hitches. Trying to go on the cheap in any of these will only get you in trouble big time. A "light" 500~1000lb trailer that breaks free from your truck going 50mph is one hell of a projectile. I saw one of those portable cement mixers come lose from a pick up and slam into a parked car. Damn near totaled the car. Thankfully no one was inside.
Where do you get 24" ball height? Ball height is dependent on the trailers. The trailer should either be completely level or with the front of the trailer slightly lower. 24" is about 12'' too high for all the trailers I've used.

oceansfiftyseven is on a distinguished road

Although the Express package is supposed to come with everything the tradesman model has. The spray in bedliner and tow hitch are "deleted" on Express models and have to be ordered separately as options. I had to add hitches to both Express's I have owned the 2 slt's I have had came with them. +1 on not buying the small class 3 trailer hitches. They flex the bumper quite a bit when loaded.
