Default Wind noise reduction question

Do window vent visors help reduce wind noise inside the truck?

At any speed above 60 mph, I hear much wind turbulence OUTSIDE the driver's window. There is no wind leakage but the noise outside is terrific so that the wind sound comes through the glass into the cabin.

I am wondering if anyone has put window vent visors on and noticed any reduction in wind noise? Thanks.

I get the worst buffeting when the rear windows are down at highway speeds. It is unbearable, so if visors work I would be willing to make the investment too.

Not referring to the high pressure buffeting condition in most cars or trucks when one window is open.
I am experiencing loud wind turbulence noise with all windows closed. No air leaks, just big wind noise coming through the drivers door window.

I don't hear any wind noise in my Laramie. Wondering if you by chance have the Trailer Tow mirrors? I don't.

I think you might be on to something with that Statement. Here is a side picture of his truck from 2014 forum. http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=152439 Those look like the tow mirrors to me.

I was facing the same problem...The faster I went the noise level from the wind outside the drivers side door got louder...I thought for the first week of owning the truck there was an door alignment problem or a seal not in the right place..or even the window not being up all the way. Well the good news I didn't have any of that.
I went ahead and installed IN CHANNEL vent shades. It seemed to make the wind sound a little less. I guess im just use to it now..never really give it any more thought.
