Mine does it also, worse at times than others. It is the transmission not down shifting out of overdrive and 6 gear. I have gotten into the habit of down shifting manually into 5 gear,in fact unless I am on a long road trip I keep it in 5th gear and that does away with the shudder. I have also noticed that I get better mpg's in normal driving situations if I keep it in 5th gear. I do not know if it is normal or supposed to do this but it does and Chrysler is never going to admit a defect in the transmission.

Mine does it too. I feel too that the fuel slosh is b.s. It some times does it & some times doesn't. Some times on a 1/4 tank some times full. I believe that it's a drive train issue. I.E: the torque converter binding, the rear diff twitching under break load or release or torque load. Or it's the pinion having too much slack or the transmission thinking it's still engaged. I dunno but it's annoying cause it makes me feel uneasy about the quality of the drivetrain in my truck. If anyone ever gets a handle on this issue I'd love a courtesy post/ update.

Well, after reading this thread, I checked my Laramie Longhorn out real close. I feel the same bump at a stop, but not always. I was thinking that the fuel slosh was a bunch of b.s. also, but I have the 32 gallon tank on my Longhorn. I had 1/2 tank and let it go down to almost empty. didn't feel a thing and I turned the Hill Start on and off. As soon as I filled the tank to 3/4 of a tank, I started getting the bump at a stop. Turning the Hill Start on or off didn't make a difference. As soon as the tank got back down to 1/2 tank, I stopped feeling it and I haven't felt nothing since. I will fill it all the way up next time and check it out. This is kind of annoying, but at least I think I know what I am feeling now. I was wondering and waiting for it to get worse so I could take it to the dealer and raise some hell.
