Default 2011 ram fog light wire help

hi,newbie here.i have a 2011 dodge ram 1500 st model with no fog lights.i bought a bumper from a 2010 dodge ram slt with factory fog lights.i also bought the headlight switch with it as i know i needed one with the fog light button on it.my question is i dont have any were for the wiring to go from the fog light to plug in to the truck itself.i show some connectors under my truck on the left side but those dont match up to the plug in on the foglights.i see some people say i neede a jumper wire but thats not going to work for me.i need a wire to plug into my factory fog lights to the truck somewere as i was told by the dealer that since my truck did not have fog lights i need to buy a whole new headlight wire harness with foglights.does that sound right and thats what i need to do?thanks for all your help

Look at the mopar fog light kit and read their PDF instructions, they show the wiring that they do from the TIPM to the lights, you will see kind of what you need to complete your mod.

No you do not need to buy a complete wiring harness but if your truck did not come pre wired for the fog lights you may want to pick up their kit.

I'd grab the mopar kit just for the wiring.

the mopar fog light kit that has the fog lights at the center of the bumper uses the same harness as the oem fog lights(even though the lights are different). I converted from an slt chrome bumper without fogs to sport bumper with fogs. I used the harness from that kit. Since you have all the other parts already, you might be able to buy just the harness separately and save some money, you'll need the part number though. It's very easy. Email me and I'll send you the pdf instructions from the kit so you see what I'm talking about. My email is my username at gmail.
