Default Two problems or just one

Hi guys, newbie here, first post. I'm not sure if I have two separate issues or just one. Two months ago I noticed when coasting to a stop the last gear shift down was hard and was intermittent. At the same time I started having the idle issue that others here were having. I made an appointment to have the transmission fluid and filter replaced and bands adjusted. Before I could have that done, as I was backing out of my driveway, the idle issue got worse and the engine light came on. I drove it for a couple days and it seemed to get better. I stopped at Auto Zone to check the engine light. Computer said TBS and after looking here in this forum I bought the TBS. Before I could replace it, and here's the part that surprised me, the idle issue and shifting issue went away and the engine light went out on it's own. Go figure. Two days ago the shifting problem and idle issue returned. Yesterday on the freeway at 70 mph the trans was shifting between two high gears. I could see the RPM's go back and forth between 2000 and 2500. Last night I changed the TBS and the idle issue was fixed and it's not having the shifting issue either. At least not yet. I'm still planning to have the transmission maintenance done but I wonder if there's more problems with the transmission I don't know about. Thanks for any advise you have for me.

Sounds like the tranny issue was/is related to the throttle body issue. Here's to the issue not coming back.
