I've owned at least 4 black vehicles. They look great when clean. Keeping it that way is too much effort. I've sworn off black vehicles for good.

I have a black Ram 1500 and a black Chrysler 200 convertible, and they both look smashing when clean, however not so smashing when the pollen falls of the trees and gets to them.

Still, I would buy another black for sure!

The hardest thing to pick is the colour, but grey is one colour that I don't think I would ever get......please don't hate me grey owners! LOL.......but here is my reasoning why.....

Grey looks fantastic I will admit on a nice bright sunny day, but when the weather turns I find that grey vehicles are harder to see on the road.

Keep in mind that this is just my opinion and based on my experience only and not scientific fact.

I recall once apon a time ago there was a study group that looked into colours of vehicles and which ones got into more accidents, but because there were just too many variables there was no way to come up with a final conclusion.

My wife and I both agreed at some point that grey was hard to see at dusk because it blended into the road, so we opted not to get one.

My brother drives a grey Ram 1500, and as I said it looks great!

I still own a black car, though. (Wife got to decide the color with Mineral Grey, had the choice of M.G. or black)

Think of it this way....black means you get to spend more time outside loving your Ram....what's wrong with that? lol ;-)
I totally agree . Black does hide dirt well though .

Black hides dirt well?? What kind of black do you have??

My 1500 was black and it was pretty much dirty the day after I washed it every time. Either pollen, road grime, whatever... It was dirty and it showed it.

I had a black one but it really kept the garage man on my estate busy keeping it clean....lol..just kidding. Really it was tough to keep clean and in Ohio it basically looked nasty 7 months out of the year. I then had a mineral gray 11 which is really the best color for not showing dirt. My 13 is white which is ok but I just could not find a mineral gray Longhorn when I bought. But if I did have an estate with a garage man I would get black

I love the black and chrome look on the truck. It's the only color I was interested in. That is until I saw a new Ram in a dark cinnamon? color. Man that looked sweet. Didn't know that was available.

This is my first black vehicle & yes while it is hard to keep pristine I wouldn't trade it for any other colour as it looks awesome when it's clean.

I had a silver car prior & my wife's Caravan is silver - both gravy to keep looking good but they can't compare to a freshly detailed black one.

Instant detailer & microfiber towels are your friend...

I'm pretty sure that's why they put those storage compartments under the floormats in the back so you have handy a place for all your detailing supplies
