When I went to buy a truck I went to get a regular cab but when I brought it home to take the wife for a ride she said it was too small and needs a back seat incase we need to use it evey now and then with the kids. So I took it back and got a quad cab and to tell you the truth at the time I did not even know there was a crew cab with the rear vents in the ceter console. Mine has the middle seat and not the console.
This weekend I took my son and his friend home from a baseball game and it was only about 80 outside and they both set in the back. They were complaining that it was hot so I turned the a/c on bi-level thinking they would at least get some air to the floor from under the seats. They still complained so we ended up just rolling down the windows and putting up with the hurricane of air in the cab for the 20 minute ride home.
When I got home I got a flash light and looked under the front seats from the rear and to my surprise there is no rear heat ducts either.
Is this normal? I thought all vehicles with a back seat would at least have ducts under the seats?
Well, I have been extremly happy with the tuck until now and now I am very disappointed and a little pissed!
I also have the Quad and was also surprised that there was no rear air, but it's really not much of a factor to me as very rarely will anybody sit back there. I know that I certainly won't ever be the one riding back there!
