This might be slightly off subject but would you recommend the h&s trans tuning? Would it possibly help with in town mpg? And keep from lugging the engine down at lower speeds?
I got it to help prolong the life of the stock trans and I love it. Shifts are great and It doesn't lug around in 6th gear while cruising at 45mph anymore.
I can't say of it helped my in town fuel economy because I didn't start calculating my fuel economy until after I got the trans tuning. The tuning is almost identical to the trans tuning that Revmax uses on their aftermarket transmissions, but with a few differences for the stock transmission (line pressure as an example).
Let me know after you try the low boost fueling, I am interested in seeing how much more smoke there is. I haven't tried it yet.
