Put a couple hundred miles on my buell last sunday and a few hundred more today. Had a guy on a sportster yell at me at a light "nice ducati". I yelled back "nice goldwing" but he didn't hear me since I had a helmet on lol.

Just wanted to post a pictures from april's trip to deal's gap:

Every room at the motel was a bueller, was a fun trip.

I have to imagine there's a contract between Buell and Harley for motors, don't know about trannys. You should run the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC with leathers (knee pads). R...

Buell is out of business, Harley owns all rights. I don't believe they are making the buell engine anymore(but it's essentially a sportster engine with updates). The architecture is the same, although it makes double the power. Harley is currently honoring buell warranties and supplying parts for so many more years...

I've been on the blue ridge, nice riding but definitely no knee dragging there lol those are some high speed sweepers. The best riding I've done was in the ozarks in arkansas.

Deal's gap is ok but it's more of a tourist attraction it's so popular and very dangerous due to all the traffic. I ride fairly aggressive but very safe and at my pace, I have nothing to prove. I like to get out and have fun though for sure.

Went down to the Devils Showdown this weekend at NJ Motorsports Park to see the AMA nationals. Two hours there and two hours back. Suggested I bring the pup tent and just stay overnight...so on Sunday another 2 hours there and 2 back.

Shoulda just brought the tent.

A lot of really nice bikes of all makes and models. Same with the races, I just can't appreciate the sound of the KTM's though.
