Default Headlights go on and off (at night, of course!)

I have a 2002 Ram 1500. It's not driven alot anymore, but the last time my husband drove it (he was designated driver) he said the headlights went on and off several times on the way home. Was wondering if anybody here might know what the problem is? Thanks!

Could be a couple of things. Do you have any troubleshooting tools or skills? Could be a bad switch, could be a lose connection or a lose fuse. Could be a bad TIPM. Do you have anymore info? Was it raining? Was it bumpy?
