I'd run a jumper from the battery to the coil (disconnect the factory harness from the positive side to avoid any feedback/overload issues). With 12V going to the coil, see if it'll fire.

if i power up the coil like that i get spark still no start, one thing i did notice it that when i turn the key on the check engine light looks weak, like the battery is dying but i get the full 12 volts at the battery, could i have a bad ground in the wiring harness? if i do where can i find a wiring diagram?

Power at the coil, good fuel pressure. Sounds like distributor. Bad ground is always possible, but you're getting 12V where you need it.

Check the engine ground to the firewall for corrosion and check the terminals on the battery etc. Never hurts to clean and coat them.

If you want to check the fuses, go ahead. While you're doing that have someone check the air pressure in the tires, and maybe clean the windows.
