Default Truck won't start

This has happened probably about 6-7 times so far but sometimes when I go to start the truck by turning the key nothing happens. Power all comes on but the truck won't turn over, not even a sound. Turn it off then back on and the truck will start. There was once where I had to do turn it off twice and then it started on the third time.

Has anyone else had this happen?
Current: BakFlip FiberMax, Pillar Tape Removed, Partial Debadge (moved hemi badge to tailgate), Tinted Fronts to Match Rears (15%)

ive seen this in a few vehicles that have come to my shop. it could be your key if its a smart key or has a resistor in it. (resistor in the plastic handle.) if you have a second key try using that an see if it works in one shot. if so just get your other key reprogrammed. if it doesn't work it could be a computer issue with the ignition circuit or your starter might be bad/ defective.

Take it to the dealer, I had to get mine reflashed for starting issues.

Mine did it a couple of times .....

Here is the scenario:
I am driving and reaching some road construction where the traffic is stopped for 10 -15 min. I stop, put the transmission in P and turn the engine off, and remain in the car. Then after a couple of min I try to turn the engine on again and nothing will happen. Engine will not start. Imagine me sitting there in my new truck and everybody is honking behind me ....

After this happening 2 - 3 times I figured out that the following workaround works:
I then have to take out the key from the ignition, open my driver side door, close the driver side door, put the key back into the ignition, and then the truck will start.

Never figured out what the problem is, but I do have the factory security system installed, so, it might be related to that ....
