Default Service airbag system

UPDATE
yesterday they claimed it was fixed, today the warning light came back on again, and again the light was off when i returned to dealer, i showed proof again.
NOW the tech went to star check or something like that, where they enter the problem in a data base and see if they had a fix.

I may have pissed the service writer off, i said 2200 miles this shouldnt be happening.
then what the lemon law was and how it worked.
He kinda turned a lil red and said NO give them a chance.
Is ther somewhere i can go on a chrysler website to find out known problems or concerns with this>

This being the air bag system, i am not playing around.
yesterday they replaced the airbag orca module and today it has the same code stored in the new one.
the warning light dont stay on, it will come on for a few miles, then reset its self
any help would be great
thanks
ALSO am i being a butthead about this? or am i in right to show my tail on this problem

You have the right to be pissed off, but if they cant fix it with no threats (trust me they WANT to fix your truck, especially air bag related) they most likely wont be able to fix it when under the gun either.

My advice is try a different dealer, let them know that you werent happy with the other service department and they may try to go that extra step to prove they are better. Plus you may come across a more experienced tech that can handle it better. If there is only one dealer local you let them try to fix it, if they cant get it right after a few tries then look into the lemon law/but back process in your state.

They should have you in a rental or loaner if you have air bag issues, hopefully they didnt let you drive away with the air bag light light lit on a new truck..

You check the airbag fuse module for a good fit? Mine was loose and would cause it to go off at random times and then clear.

Hi all!!! I found this forum looking for answers to this same problem with the "check airbag system" warning on my 2013 2500.

It started this morning and it comes and goes randomly like somebody else mentioned...

Heading to the dealer tomorrow to luckily get an answer.

A lot of people including me found the airbag fuse was loose. Look in the manual for its location and give it a good press down.

I was pissed to mine happened at 230 miles..... It was a bad fuse setting bad in the fuse box... It would lightly touch and make contact and then not touch the contact that set off the air bag lights... Chech THE FuSE..... Make sure it wasn't set in bad.... Mine was shot.....pull it out ad set it in good.if its good .then I don't know.. That was my problem.
