You can think of turbo charging as a really. really excellent CAI system.

Love that pic of Adolf Obama! In regards to the vehicle choice I'm a GM nut at heart but go bananas over the look of the ram in & out. I was all set to be open minded purchasing my first new vehicle. I had a child & wanted a good amount of steel around my first born. I refuse to go minivan no matter what. I originally thought tahoe. But looking at the interior of all the chevy's I was left unimpressed. Ford looked out dated outside. I loved the rams tuff looking nose, luxurious interior & it's awesome power & comfortable ride. Yea it tow's & hauls less than some others but it rides better than all of the others. If max tow & haul was my sole focus I'd had stepped up to a 3/4 or greater truck & went diesel. I like the fords & love GM but I love my ram & as far as japanese goes. I'd rather walk than drive foreign. Thats J.M.O! God bless America! Speaking of. Prayers for all the victims families from the tragic shooting today in D.C.

Sure, as long as the air you're feeding it is cold

Watch out for those bad boys, I ran across an EB extended cab Fx4 at the track last weekend,
he was hitting consistant 13.9's in 4000' DA. I had to know how he did it so we had a chat...

Only mod was a CAI and a SCT tuner, full size tires with 17" wheels

Those trucks run mid-low 15's bone stock on our track,
but with just a tuner they pick up 50whp and almost 100ft.lbs TQ

I talked to the guy for a while and he said he'd never been beat by a Hemi Ram
...but his expression changed when I smirked and pointed out my little Black Hemi and said
"if you want to keep your record intact stay away from That One...with 500whp"

He said "that's a Viper Truck, doesn't count "
(I have Viper emblems) hence the mistake on his part.
I told him nope, it's a V8 Hemi with a Ripp kit and he chuckled and ...knew right away what that meant.... 12.9's

The fastest I ever ran NA, was with intake, exhaust, tune and 28" DR's at 2500' DA was 13.9's
...no way I would have taken that guy down at 4000' DA without my supercharger.

But with it I not only take him down,
but can also run door to door with his 5.0L Coyote Mustang Big Brother.

If you have one be careful with your tune, they still have powdered metal rods and cast pistons. There have been instances of catastrophic failure on stock EcoBoosts. And don't buy that fuel economy gain, they run with retarded timing at light loads to keep the exhaust temps high and the turbos spooled up for quick response. Give me a 5.0.

In the pick up truck mash up this past June a Ram Hemi with an 8 speed and a 3.55 rear just beat an EB with 3.73 rear by almost a second, both empty. The Ram beat the EB with 8500lbs also, but somehow they flubbed the 1200lb test and the Ram came in way behind. Somebody screwed up.

They also did a slalom test and the Ram beat the EB by a few seconds.

So, a 3.92 should walk away from an EB stock to stock.
