Default Check your Volant filter!

I was doing my usual under hood check and decided to check my air filter. I found it just sitting in the air box, who knows for how long. I know it was tight, so check yours to be safe. I just did a little reading and it seems this is a common problem with Volant intakes. I have been looking at the s&b, this may be the push i need to buy one

I had the filter on my airaid fall off as well. You need to tighten it down, drive for a bit and then retighten it. Since I do a complete underhood check every second fill up it became something I'd look at when I did fluid and exhaust bolt checks.
