Default Heat has a mind of its own

Anybody having problems with there climate control. Initially dealer replaced heater control valve to no avail. Then replaced heater core which was blocked, however the heat still does not always want to work. Normally when you first start truck you get heat but change any settings and you stop getting hot air. A/C works fine. Waiting to see what Ram has to say as dealer has no idea.

Back in the day, one would look at a vacuum issue, however on these newer vehicles you have to have $15K worth of electronics to diagnosis a burnt taillight. Good luck!
