I didn't even know the Rams were available in a 4.7L engine until I came on these boards. I thought all the 1500's were a Hemi 5.7L

My first Ram. My ignorance.

When I started looking at RAMs I didn't know much about them and ALMOST bought a used 4.7 SLT. Went home and did a little research and ended up w/ my new hemi express for about the same price. The more I know the happier I am about my decision!

if you just got the truck their will be neg equity for trade in most likely depending on what you put down when you bought it. assuming your like me (military living on a budget and dreams) and just covered taxes you will have a bit of neg eg but if you didnt put anything down then you will be upside down and not worth it. not trying to lecture just passing on my past errors. if you paid it off with deployment money...throw a 6.1 in their and hemi guys can no longer bully you...if you have money to blow buy a used 6.1 build the internals and supercharge it then you can destroy the hemi guys
