Thanks Cajun. I did put up a couple of photos in the Profile area on an album but after 3 I couldn't get anymore. But, 3's enough especially among a bunch of RAM owners that already know what they look like. I did make my Avatar one of the photos.

Thanks for the welcome! ":-D jack

Welcome Jack. I'm a 62 yo with my first Hemi. Just had an 07 TRX4 but with retirement planned for 4 years out, wanted to upgrade before then. I have 13 RAM 1500 Express SB 4x4, red of course.
Enjoy,
GilAlex

GilAlex, ain't 2nd childhood great! haha! Well when I bought my first Jeep Wrangler back in 1989 I was 39yo and they were tellin' me then it was a mid-life play toy. I had 2 for a total of 21 years. I got a lot of playin' in during that time. I just enjoyed driving them. And I am enjoying this RAM just as much. I'm off the clock, have been a few years. Taking care of Mother losing her memory has taken up my last 4 years and I had to make adjustments, but it's all good. She slipped away last December and I know she's in a better place.

Now, after being devoted to her 24/7 for 4 years it's my time. Frankly, I'd never been able to buy this 10 years ago. I couldn't have afforded the gas. But now the thing can sit and look pretty in the driveway if I want. It' doesn't have to go anywhere. But it can sit still and look pretty a lot more than most.

Thanks for the words.

It's a 5.7Hemi BigHorn with the emblems. $3200 option package for incentive this thing would be a nightmare to most farmers. It's a good thing I have been fooling with computers since 1988 and on the web since 1996. Still, at that I am gonna have to do some readin' to figure all this thing does. I love the remote start. Is has wi-fi, sirrus free a year, navigation, heated mirrors, 8 speed automatic ... gosh. I can't list it all. I've never had such things.

Like a kid at Christmas. Thanks for the welcome!!

Old guys never die ... they just ... GO OUT AND BUY A RAM! hahaha!

Hey welcome to the forum.. that is one hell of a loaded Ram you got there.. Heck even us young bucks would need to do some research to get er all figured out with all the toys. For miliage.. the Rams are actually really good compared to most other trucks.. Ford talks out their ass about the eco-boost miliage and no one ever hits what is stated. Coming from a GM family and many friends with Fords and Chevs.. My truck compares real good. Even with my smaller tank and 35" M/T's I am still gettin equal or better then them all running stock minus a 01 chev with 33 BFG A/T. You just gotta learn the driving pattterns to get the most out of your fuel.. Keep er blow 2000RPM, light on the gas and don't let the Hemi and your right foot become best friends.

You will love your Ram.... I honestly only bought mine because I got at an amazing price with low miliage, 4x4, Hemi, and quad cab. But fell in love with it and don't think I could ever own a truck other then a Ram from now.. (minus a 2500 Denali HD for weekend cruiser ).

Hey Pride! Thanks for the info and welcome. I loved Wranglers from 1989 until just Spring of 2011 I sold the 2nd and last one. I got the itch for a truck. I wanted RAM but things didn't work at first. I looked at FORDS, TITANS, CHEV's but finally something worked out at the local Dodge dealer just 4 blocks away. A win win and I got this thing $7000 under sticker. That's not counting the $3200 incentive package. Yes, it has a lot of bells and whistles. I think they are all fun but the one most functional I like ... the remote start. It can get pretty cold here on the Delmarva Peninsula in Winter.

Thanks for the welcome! jack ":-D

Yeah I installed an aftermarket alarm system with autostart.. Love it on the cold days+ I get to hear my exhaust roar from the outside at start up for once ..

And you wanna experience bad fuel miliage.. Try out a titan.. From what I have heard they are absolutely brutal. I love wranglers aswell, always was a trow-up between them and a truck for me, but set myself a truck because of practicality of it and how handy the bed comes in handy for work, tailgateing in parking lots and just being able to throw anything in it. Plus a Hemi is nice

Yep, almost got sucked into a Titan and soooo glad I didn't. It just didn't impress me that much on the drive. And, yeah, my Wrangler days are over. I do admit I still have fun driving it/them after 20+ years but I'm havin' a heck of a lot of fun drivin' this RAM. G'day! jack ":-D
