Default Metal on Metal noise during left hand turns???

I am bringing the truck into the dealership for a look, but any ideas what this might be? On left hand turns I heard a loud metal on metal sound under the truck. I did not run anything over. Sounded almost like a piece of metal was sliding during the turn and hit another object.

Twice in 24 hours this happened... It does not sound normal. I wish I could describe it better.

Any ideas?

Maybe an inner brake dust shield bent in and making contact with your brake rotor? Just throwing it out there.

driven on any gravel roads or anything?

sometimes a rock can get stuck between the rotor and splash shield and grind and make an awful noise. But it can be lodged in there JUST the right way that it only does it at certain times.

worth crawling under and looking. I even had a piece of glass instead of a rock up there.

I was mudding during both times this happened to me, but no reason it couldn't happen on a gravel road or something

I will take a look later today, but no I have not taken the truck offroad yet, no dirt/gravel roads. I was hoping to in 1-2 weeks and wanted this fixed before I go.

hmm ok. well get under there and have someone turn the wheel and see if you can see anything that could potentially be touching.

might just end up being a trip to the dealer kind of issue
