Default Rogers to offer Wifi in vehicles in Canada

Just saw this article today, maybe us Canadian's won't be left out in the cold from using some of the cool features of our 8.4AN radios. Apparently Chrysler uses Sprint Velocity technology in the Viper and Ram radios since 2012.

Has anyone in the US seen a place where a SIM card can be installed in their truck for the radio?

there is no place that i have seen on the radio itself
it would have to be in the arm rest/console, where the other remote connectors are

i searched Google & this is what came up

Sprint in the US is CDMA which does not require a SIM. Only GSM phones (AT&T, T-Mobile), along with LTE (4G) phones require / can accept a SIM. It is possible that the 8.4A/N was designed with both CDMA and GSM radios with a SIM slot buried somewhere inside. It would make sense from a design standpoint to be able to work with as many carriers as possible. It would also make sense to hide the SIM from customers so they don't remove it and disable their access.
