Default Window Wind Noise

I know there has been other threads on this somewhere. I've tried with and with window vent visors on and I still have wind noise at head level on drivers side at about 60+ Mph. Has anyone been to the dealer on this issue and had it fixed? I've search for TSB on this and nothing has come up. Seems like I have the window down a hair. I've just been turning up the radio, but I know that isn't normal. Any help will be great

Do you have an after market radio antenna on your truck? If so thats your problem, not the windows or windshield. Put factory antenna back on and go for a ride over 60 mph and you will see. Read my post under "OEM Antenna" by finny872, that will explain everything that has happened to me.

I've read other post on that as well and I still have the factory antenna on mine. The wind noise seems like it's right at your ear

Try it with two opposite windows open. What you are hearing may be the wind bouncing/buffeting around the inside of the vehicle.

Try taking the weather stipping out around the door/window..add some silicone on the inside where the rubber would be along the wondow/door...then put the weather stipping back in place...Might be some air getting in thru that way. That worked for me with my 2012 Camry...wind noise GONE

I believe he is hearing this with all the windows up. It just sounds like the window is down a hair but it is not.

I am hearing the same thing on mine. I never noticed it before, but I got my front windows tinted and I am wondering if they didn't put the weather stripping back in right. I have yet to take it apart and see though, maybe this thread will get me motivated to check.

Last time I checked the antenna was on the PS.

I'd be willing to bet it's your mirrors. Fold them in and see if the noise goes away. My 13 has an issue with the mirrors causing a howl. I thought it was coming from the window initially, but upon further investigation found it to me my mirror.

Thanks for all the comments on this. I've folded the mirrors in and still the noise is there. Windows are up but seems like drivers side is down a hair. I have noticed on the doors seals are just clipped in in certain spots that leave the seals loose around the door. I'm not sure if that's it and was going to try and seal between the clips but figured I should at least have the dealer see it before I started sealing off factory seals. I also want to maybe have them take me or let me drive another new truck and see if I hear the noise in that one. Anymore advice will greatly be appreciated thanks guys

Alter Ego Trip,

For what its worth, my aftermarket antenna was whistling so loud at highway speeds that you heard it EQUALLY at both the FRONT PASSENGER AND DRIVER SEAT. Thats why I said it could be your antenna.

I had what I thought was a similar problem a few weeks ago coming from the passenger side window.

It had just started so I was confused why as I never heard prior.

Long story short, after looking at the weather stripping, I noticed a big bug had got squished up between the window and the weather stripping and once removed, picked out, cleaned, all was good again.
