the Y alone would make a difference....When I first started modding I had my muffler guy cutout the stock Y and replace it with a stretched pipe to take in the stock pipe before the pinch. The acceleration felt much smoother....

Thanks guys! Found a good muffler shop will to do the Y pipe (and section coming from drivers side manifold that runs over the trans pan) for some Patron (I work for an alcohol distributor and get it free!!!!) now I just need to see if I can use my barter skills to talk him into doing a full true dual for something a little more. Wish me luck!
