I purchased the warranty when I bought my truck. Part of what sold me was the finance guy said this type of warranty is only good for someone who keeps their vehicle over 10 years. If I wasn't going to keep it for 10 years or more he recommended NOT getting it. I plan on keeping my truck for a long time also.

Here are some numbers for you: A radio is $3000 to replace because of all the computers. The light up/blinker side mirrors are $700 each to replace. You get where I am going?

Yes, I would (And have) buy the Max Care warranty.

make sure you keep up with every aspect of maintenance to include the complete vehicle inspections at their determined mileage. One member(can't remember who) bought either this warrently or the lifetime(can't remember) but he didn't do one of the inspections at the appropriate mileage because he wasn't told to and they didn't cover his issue. So don't depend on them to tell you either...always ask what you need and when and you should be good
