No real good "stories", but from what I observe on the road daily, you could rip off every mirror (including the rear-view) on most peoples cars, and they would never even notice! They have absolutely no clue what's behind them, and little regard for what's in front. It's all THEM all the time.

On occasion i have watched as the truck that i am following gains on another Semi truck
the other trucker sees the truck & load that i am with & pulls into the Hammer Lane
here i am thinking that the other trucker is either being an A Hole or there is something in his way or on the shoulder of the highway, like a Patrolman.
Then i see nothing ahead of him & nothing on the shoulder to make him change lanes
I am now believing that he is a A Hole
In truth, the other driver was making it easier on the Oversize Load driver, he moved over so that our load could pass easier, we would have the right lane & shoulder to move past the other truck
The lanes are usually 12 to 13' wide & with the 6' shoulder, we had all the room in the world to pass, most oversize loads are less then 18' wide. 15' is a good average
Most drivers (truckers) are very courteous. Most, I say...

And they don't look beyond their hood ornament.
