Default 99 1500 5.2 question

Ok. rebuilt a junkyard 318 magnum for my sons truck. Block and tranny went in today without issue and the heads are now on. Heres my question: On the distributor is a wire with a 3 prong female plug and for the life of me,i cant figure out where this thing gets plugged in. This is the only wire im having difficulty remembering where it came off from and can't seem to locate the male end of it.Its the same distributor that came off of the motor that was in there and yet i can't for the life of me locate where it plugs into and theres really nothing on the internet to help me. I hope someone here can give me a clue. If it has any bearing on it,it is a manual tranny. A detailed explanation of where i might find the other end would be helpful. Thanks guys.

There should be the opposite member close by. It's part of the engine wiring harness. I believe it is fairly close to the crankshaft position sensor connector. I'm a little perplexed by it being a 3-prong as both the distributor and crank position sensor are 2-prongers. The old pre-Magnum distributor were round 3-prongers, but I have only seen flattened oval-shaped 2-prong Magnum connectors. Full disclosure, I have never worked on a '99, so there's some speculation on my part, but while connectors changed, the basic layout stayed pretty much the same.
