BTW, I don't really care if the truck is "fast", I have other cars for that, but as my daily driver I do want it to be fun to drive and not a slug.

there is no doubt that you good get close to that type of power, my question then becomes, how are the transmission . even the bulit proof Allison is only good up to adding 100hp and then you have have to start up grading the clutches.

Not sure what specs Ram had ZF build the tranny to but the ZF 8-speed is used in a number of high powered very heavy german luxury cars so I would think it is pretty stout. I guess the only way to know is for a few people to hammer on them and find the limits.

I have read that the ZF used in the Hemi is rated around 520 tq, and it should be the same ZF used in the diesel.

Probably if you do a search here you will find info related to it as it has been posted in the 2014 section. I am pretty sure that it was said that the same PCM will be used here as in Europe so hopefully it won't take a long time for a tuner to show up.

My guess is due to EPA standards, I would highly suspect the NAFTA PCM for the 3.0 is different than the Euro PCM.

(I have no information either way).

Guess you know your power train warranty will be gone if you add a tuner.
