Default Can I get these options on a '14 Outdoorsman?

I think I may order a truck for myself, for my Birthday this weekend. I'm wanting a 2014 1500 Outdoorsman 4x4 Crew Cab. However, when configuring my truck online, it's not giving me the option to add the RAM Cargo Management System (the ram boxes built into the bed), nor the Convenience Group package (I'm wanting the push button start option). I know for a fact that you can get the Ram Boxes on an Outdoorsman, as I've seen them on 2013 models, in person. I'm almost positive I have also seen the push button start on models other than Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Laramie Limited.

I guess my question is this: Can I get the RAM boxes and push button start on a 2014 1500 RAM Outdoorsman? I plan on making a custom order....

EDIT: One other question... Can you get the ram boxes on a 5'7 bed, or do you have to have the 6'4 bed?

You should be able to get the Ram boxes in either bed size. You won't be able to get the Convenience Group as that usually only comes on the Sport model and above.

You could probably have the dealership install the oem remote start MAYBE even have them throw it in for free if you're a smooth talker. Lol I talked them into installing keyless entry on my 2012 express because I could order vynle seats and keyless entry.

don't even think about the RAM BUILD SITE
it is a scam, they purposely make it seem like you are building your Ram

When in fact, they use your list of wants/needs & compare them to what the dealerships in your area have in current stock or in transit
why do you think that they ask for your ZIP code, if it was a true build site, why would they ask that ??
delivery costs are universal & you already know what your tax percentage is

the only way to know if certain items are truly available, you have to sit down with a salesman or Manager at the dealership, & go through the process one item at a time. UNTIL the come out with a NEW SALES BROCHURE for 2014
it will have ALL the options that you can order from the factory

if you don't think that i am right about this, call RAM Customer Service

Yes you can get the RAMBOX on both the 5 and 6 foot beds only. No you can't get the push button start but you can get remote start (they are two different things.)

Thanks for the replies everyone! I guess I'll start looking more at the Laramie. If I'm going to order a truck, I'm going to get every option that I want. Gonna cost me about $3,000 for that dang push button start, haha.

Although scam is perhaps too strong a word, the Build and Price website is definitely confusing and incomplete. I thrashed through it many times--about a quarter of the attempts hanging on the color selection step--to determine which model had most of the options I wanted. I give the site 4 out of 10 for user-friendliness. I give dealers 3 out of 10.

I have found other websites that list all the options and have invoice prices to be more useful. In fact, I had a better experience placing a new Grand Cherokee order over the internet in the 90s when it wasn't all flash and mirrors. The auto industry has a long way to go to understand the modern market. Of course, I realize they are lucky to still be in business but think the economic reset did not teach them enough.

Oh it did. Unfortunately the bankruptcy and other factors led to the current B&P according to local lore. Without spilling the beans, the current B&P tool is "we had to have one RIGHT NOW."

We're working on the "right one" now.
