Ya good choice there.. When I have "borrowed" a used rv to make sure all the features work in an actual camping environment, I could feel the 3.55's when pulling up hill. Now with my 35" M/T I am sure it will be an even more interesting ride. And with towing and hauling anything in general.. it always better to be over prepared and safe.. Because you not only put yourself at risk, but also everyone else on the road.

You are welcome for the info. Without doubt you'll be happier towing with the 3.92 over the 3.55 - that's what's in my Ram. Regardless of whether you are new to trailers & camping or not, you'll find alot of info at http://www.forestriverforums.com/forums.

I'm also going to say that those forest river cherokee's are heavy ass trailers. Had to move one at work the other day on the forklift for a service customer to hook up too.. Was like 26-27 feet but had the wing slides at the back (big slide on opposite sides of the trailer making the living room very large)... Thing felt like it was a 32 footer.
