Default RV rearview camera

Let me first preface this by saying that I have searched like crazy and I have a general idea but am hoping someone can answer specifics.

I have a 2013 Ram Express tow package with the 5.0 touchscreen. There are a few different options to adding a rearview camera, but I want to add a camera to the back of my 32 foot travel trailer and wire it to the 5.0 touchscreen so it acts like a review mirror while towing down the interstate.

It appears that this is possible but I have following questions:

1. Does the radio have a standard RCA type video input?
2. If connected to a random rearview RV camera will it work?
3. Will I need the dealer to flash the radio to "turn on" the video capability?
4. Will it work while driving (in drive to function like a rearview mirror) or just in reverse?

The Crux stuff looks really good but expensive. Lockpick looks awesome but, a)not ready yet, and b) expensive.

So bottom line, my idea right now is to get the factory wiring harness for the tailgate camera but instead plug in a rearview camera from my trailer, BUT if this only works while truck is in reverse it is not what I want.

I tried this on my 2012 CTD. But couldn't get it to work. Others on the forum said they used the Edge CTS and wired it directly to do it. Small screen and was multi use.

I did the same thing for my snowmobile trailer, but I didn't want to deal with flashing and taking the dash apart for my touchscreen.

I just hooked up the camera to constant power source from the front 7-way harness, then ran a separate wire for video up to the cab (via 4-pin harness at the truck/trailer hitch), up to a 5" display I have hanging on the A-pillar. And since my truck didn't come with a tailgate camera, I added that to, hooking into the backup lights (gotta move that to the towing harness apparently), and into the same 5" monitor. The monitor, depending which way I have the wires plugged in, will turn on to the tailgate camera with no trailer on. But with a trailer, the monitor will default to the trailer camera that will be on all the time.
