Right now I'm gonna take a saw to that rear seat hook so i can get access in prep for my audio install. Gonna mount my 5ch amp on the back wall and a pair of 10's under the seat in a custom box. See what happens next.

Thanks for offers of help, i will definitely be taking you guys up on that in the future.
Whats the purpose of a forum if you can't feel comfortable giving and receiving help.. If I just wanted to show off my truck I would have just posted up 1000's of pictures on Facebook, twitter, instagram and car domain(if that is still around).. The Ram members here at the Z all like to try our best to help each other out where we can, and hope to receive the same attitude back from fellow members when in need of help. I will mention one thing though.. Hide your wallet when on here... I found the Z when I was looking at CAI's and some HID issues.. And since then my truck has got a whole lot cooler.. And my bank a whole lot more empty

If you need any help with your audio system wiring/ set-up.. I reconmend posting any issues/ questions in the 'interior mod audio/ video' sub-forum which can be found right here.--

You shouldn't have to cut the hook. I know on my 3rd gen I took the seat out and was able to flip the bracket on the back wall around so now my back seat flips down and can have access to the back wall and in the upright position it is still locked in and secure.

Default Not going to cut.... going to use spacers.

Yeah, after looking around here a bit more, spacers make more sense than cutting. Hoping to build my own fiberglass box under the back seat. Spacers got done others volume for 2-12's. Thanks for the info about the flip though. Might try that first just to try it.
