Default Windshield washer pump

Seems like my windshield washer pump has died since I have fluid in but when I go to use it only wipers go, no fluid. Never did a job like this but was wondering if anyone has ever did this? How easy of a job?

Also rockauto shows two kinds of pump, think $7 difference between them, any input on which one to get?

Washer fluid pumps are pretty easy to change out. You'll have to remove the washer bottle, and that'll probably be the hardest part, beside removing connector from the pump. Don't know which motors you're looking at, so I can't comment on them.

Anything holding down the washer bottle? I see I will have to remove the coolant reservoir out of the way but couldn't see anything else with the washer bottle.

For the pumps one brand is ANCO part 6402 - $13.97

Second is TRICO part 11526 - $22.79

Think I'd go with the TRICO. Seems to be built a little better.
