Default 4th Gen w/XD wheels need hub centric rings?

I'm running through all the little things I need to address before I install a set of the new XD Rockstar2s on my 2011 Long Horn.

Will I need hub centric rings rings for proper alignment of the rim face to the hub or will the lugs line it all up? The KMC tech sheet reads the center bore of the RX2 being 110.5.

I've never run rings on any of my performance wheels for my cars but this is my first go at getting big rims/tires and lift for a truck.

Any help would be great since I can get the parts before next week when they are installed.

I would get the hub centric rings for sure. You'll most likely run into wobbling issues at highway speeds if you don't have them. It's not a terrible wobble that will make you lose control or anything, but it is noticeable.

The only thing I can find for OEM center bore diameter is 78.1. I'm guessing I'll need a set of 110/78.1 for proper conversion?

Yes I believe the 1500 hubs are 78.1mm.

Where are you getting your wheels from? They should be able to supply you with the hub centric adapters.

I definitely recommend the rings. I had some sitting around for months until I finally put them on. my truck had a shimmy at varying speeds that changed every time I unmounted/mounted my wheels.

I finally put them on and it's A LOT better. not 100% perfect, but a much more enjoyable ride.

I seriously doubt that the place I ordered from will have the sense to include hub-centric rings. I'm praying that they will actually send the center caps and lug nuts.

Anyways, I called tire rack and confirmed that the hub is actually 78.3mm. I found a set of rings on amazon prime and got them to be delivered tomorrow.
