Nice job. I like the debadged look myself.

Do the black trucks have tape on them? If so, the paint should be the same underneath. Not sure how much more noticeable it will be going from black tape to black pain but I would think the paint would look better.

After reading this thread I ran out to my truck and the tape was peeled off in less than 10 minutes. It was about 107 in Las Vegas today so that made short work of it. A little sem-solv to get what little of the sticky stuff was there off. Thanks all, it made my day. Looks so much better on the Flame Red!

Is the tape even on black trucks?

Okay - I went out and checked my rig and it doesn't have any tape.

"NOTE: The screw on the back door should be removed with a magnetic screwdriver to help prevent it from falling inside the door. If you do not have one of these, a simple remedy is to stuff some paper in the weatherstripping just under the screw. If the screw falls loose from the screwdriver, the paper will prevent it from falling in the door"

To make a screwdriver magnetized for free just take a plastic coated copper wire and start wrapping the wire with about six inches of wire extending past the end of the screwdriver don't over lap the coils but just wrap them close to each other like a spring once you get to the point that you have about six inches twist the striped of plastic copper ends together. Now the next step is to hold the copper ends to the negative post of a car battery then hold the end of the screwdriver to the positive post for about 20 seconds.
Now you have a magnetized screwdriver

Just make sure you have now broken plastic coating on the wire that you are using. Only the ends and hold it to the negative post. It will work both ways its just if heat is made it will be on the positive side that you touch the end of the screwdriver you are holding by the plastic handle.
