Yeah I dunno, it took me by surprise because I cut off 5/8"(just like the picture in the beginning of this thread where he marked with a sharpie on the plastic) and then it just wouldn't go all the way back. So I inspected it and used a tape measure to figure out I needed to take another 5/8" off. It pretty much takes it off at the end of the white plastic. I even used the same exact mini saw he did . No spacers under my seats, I don't personally care for that method.

Is it easier to cut the hooks or install the spacers. I understand each method will give the same results. Which one do you think is best?

Excellent mod. I've ordered the Net Audio sub box w/spacers for my 2014 1500 Express. According to Net Audio, with the spacers installed, you can fold the seat down without cutting the hooks. I hope that is indeed the case.

Netaudio spacers are 3/4 so you should have no problems

Sorry but im not sure what this mod does. What exactly does trimming that piece allow the seat to do does the top fold down now or what. Can someone explain this a little more please.
