Default Front right side squeaks...

...while depressing suspension (jumping up and down on the bumper as well as going over bumps). Sounds like its coming from control arm bushings (lower I think). This started after installing larger tires, so I'm guessing it's because the angle of the control arm has changed. Does this mean the bushings are bad and need to be replaced? Thanks for any help!

On a 14 year old truck, I would say if you haven't replaced the bushings before, it's probably time to replace them.

Thanks for the reply, but respectfully, I would consider that speculation at best. You're probably right though.

Yes, it is speculation. But since the only thing I have in front of me is a monitor and what you described, that's all I got without inspecting it myself. Try spraying them with WD-40. It the squeak goes away, then you know it's time for a new bushing.

I tried spraying them with some motorcycle chain wax, which is a silicone lubricant, but it did nothing to help. I'll try the WD40 and see what happens. Thanks.

Turns out my lower right ball joint was dry. Greased all of them and nice and quiet now.
