Default need advice on a 110 lsa cam or a 114 lsa cam

I'm looking to put a performance rebuild on my 2001 dodge ram and want to know what can would be safer for a daily driver. My truck has 35's and want some more power to help turn them! I'm planning on putting new pistons, heads, intake manifold, headers, and the cam and lifters. Need advice! Thanks

114 is much more computer-friendly. You can run 110, but you'll need some solid aftermarket computer programming to deal with it. A 114 LSA can be a bit higher lift before the computer needs help.

the 114lsa is typically a torquer. the 110lsa is usually a 1/4mile cam.
stock blocks dont or barely reach 9/1 compression. so up the ratio bout a half mark. 9.5/1
if its a good cam, bout .50 lift- 1/2 inch or so you want adjustable rockers!
head work, bowl blend port and polish, its all worth it, even cast iron heads.
for large tires dont do all the coping in the motor, you need 4:56s or better on the gears.
