Default Electrical gremlins

I have an 04 3500 turbo diesel. After replacing the heater core, I connected the battery to find the door ajar is illuminated and the headlight dash switch is non functioning. The chime dings with no key in the ignition, headlights function with turning on key? What did I do?!?!?

Any ideas how to solve.

Your best bet is to try the diesel section of the 3rd gen and either repost or ask a mod to move this. I'll make the request for you.

You may have to dismantle the dash again and check the grounds and connections. You may have also pinched a wire while putting everything back together.

+1 on what tj said ^^^^^^^. Beinst that you had to take the dash out, there are a lot of wires and mounting points that need to go back just the way they came out, or you'll tweek the snooter out of them causing some grounding/contact issues that aren't supposed to be there.

Awesome! We had a RamFest scheduled for a couple months ago, but it got cancelled due to lack of participation. We'll have to get together for a beer and compare notes.
