Another newb I'm glad they were able to help you at the dealership,I too have a big rattle behind the console. I never noticed it till I drove a washboards dirt road. Since the truck is only a month old this rattle is totally unacceptable.i just hope they don't break stuff trying to fix it! I did have a new 2000 gmc pickup that I took in for the same thing and about fainted when the mechanic just gave a big yank and the whole dash popped off! I thought there would be about twenty screws holding it together but it was mainly just clips. Hope the ram is almost as easy.

Default same problem on a 2014

I've got a 2014 Longhorn and also have the same super annoying rattle coming from the dash, sounds like somewhere around the center speaker.
Additionally there is one coming from the front passenger door, however only in cold temperatures and at speeds exceeding 60/mph. makes no sense, i know. It almost sounds like it coming from the exterior, of course when you open the window the wind noise drowns out any other noise so you cant really tell. As much as i love this truck, the fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired. I've had more quality issues then on a $20,000 Kia. That's sad.

I feel your pain. With only 2000 miles my Ram has developed a small (in sound) rattle or squeak which seems to come and go from under the dash. When first starting out on a drive all seems well, but within a few minutes it is there for usually the remainder of the trip. It almost makes a person hate the whole truck.

Make sure you remove the plastic windshield spacer although it is outside and at the bottom of the windshield it made a rattle/squeak that seemed to come right from the dash area. I was very frustrated until if found the post on the removal of the spacers and the rattle was gone.

Default Exhaust pipe clamp/clip vibration

This might not be the topic here but today I solved a year long frustrating vibration issue that the dealer could not find.Seems theres a clip on top of right side pipe by front of floor, just take a screw driver and bend it up a little. After ripping apart every heat shield and shaking stones out of tail pipes.
