i,Too, recently inherited an annoying an clicking noise coming from underneath the dash, on the driver's side. It sounds like a solenoid clicking on and off really fast , but usually only when I'm Driving Slow, or coming to a stop. I will be taking it to the dealer this afternoon. Another interesting thing is, that when I arrived at work after noticing this last night, it seemed that my shift interlock solenoid was rather loud inside of my center console as well.

Default Clicking Noise behind the radio.

I have had a clicking noise behind the ac control and radio it was the air vent actuator (there are two) I ordered aftermarket from parts geek and went ahead and installed both of them. Fixed the problem for about a day and now it is a rapid clicking noise, same area. Air will flow from the ac vents and defrost but nothing out of the floor vents. The clicking starts as soon as the pickup is started and will last for approx. 10-20 sec. I pulled both actuators thinking perhaps I had gotten a bad one. Open them both up and gears are all intact and appeared to be meshing well.
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
