Default HIDs - Lows Only or Highs too? 4th Gen Quad

I have looked through a lot of posts and most are doing just lows with HIDs.

I know the lows are the ones that are really bad a night, but is there any other reason besides costs to do just do the lows?

Has anyone went from just lows and upgraded to lows and highs?

Also 35w or 55w?

Most people recommend retro solutions net. What kit would you recommend.

I saw someone else used the simplyhidkits com with good success.

I know the 4th Gen have issues if you don't use the right kits.

I don't really see the purpose of the fogs being HIDs, because especially on the 2013 they point really far down.

Sorry for all of the questions. Right now what I am thinking is getting HIDs for the lows and maybe change the highs to better silverlights or something.

One thing to consider is the start-up time of a HID. Unlike a halogen where you have an instant on condition, HIDs will take a period of several seconds to come up to full output.

We have newer HID lighting system that are nearly instant on. I don't know who makes them, they are OEM headlamps, we develop the controls.

Sounds like you guys are saying lows only. Are there any promo or coupon codes for retro solutions?

The Retro kits will cover both low & high beams.

Use Dodge, should get you 10% off

Also you can ask them about the High Beam Splitters [Add $10.00] if you get the projectors them you wouldn't need the high beams the amount of light generated by the spliters make the high beams useless. The reason you would also do the Fog light HID's is because of the amount of light your going to gain to the sides.
