Default Which tuner for 2004 shift points?

I have been doing a lot of looking on line at performance tuners. Reading about Diablo, Hypertech and FlashPaq. When the list the funciton 2004 model year generally says shift points are not available or coming soon. What is the deal? Do any include adjusting shift points on my '04 Ram Hemi AWD? Which is best?
Thanks.

Nope. 2004 is the bastard child of transmissions. Go to a dealer and have them flash your PCM and TCM to the latest program. I just did it and it made a significant change in the shift points and firmness and was way less than a tuner.
But then my truck is for towing and most you will find on here is not doing it for the same reasons.

Thanks for the tip. I was thinking of ordering a Bully Dog tuner since it did not exclude the 2004 in their literature. I will go to the dealer and let them take a shot at it and see how if it helps. Shifts seem really slow and soft and it takes for ever to get OD to kick in.

Ha! You called a 2004 a bastard child, always thought that was us 03's....
Doesn't the flashpaq adjust for 04's?

I have a Flashpaq 3865 on my 04 and it adjusts the shift points. Really makes the truck alot better to drive and tow with.
