Default Grinding noise

Hi everyone,
Sorry i haven't been around much, but works got me busy. The other day i was in a crash with my ram 2500. A Toyota camery cut into my lane from the passing lane and I T-boned them, didn't end well for the camery. I had a brush guard on the front end and that's all that saved the front end on my ram. Anyway, since the crash i haven't been driving the truck because of a grinding noise. Thought first it was my cat, maybe it separated inside but its not that. Put a tube against my bell housing and that's where the noise is coming from. I don't know if its the starter not coming dis-engaged, or something inside the bell housing i don't know about. Any info would be greatly appreciated, wanted to get a feel for what it might be before i rip it apart.
Thanks guys, Jon
