hey Ramerson i see you on an ATV on your sig so i have a question.. I have the green slim in my ATV tires ( I hunt 3 months out of the year) and i don't want to have a flat 2 miles from camp in a snow storm.. is there something you don't like about this produt we all need to know about?

Hey thanks for the advice.........i just changed my oil with the so called crap . I wouldnt use rain x as well. I found it did nothing but screw up my front windshield as well.It left a coating on it that was a bitch to get off.

IMO any aditives for the engine, trans and Diffs are all smoke and mirrors.. had my 97 Ram for 11 years and changed everything on schedule or before (trans fluid every 20,000 for example) and one of my employees is still driving the truck.. change your fluids people!!!

If you come here and shop stay away from Halfords own branded oils, they last like 2 runs and are pee water no good for for anything, same goes with most halfords own branded stuff its all just cheap watered down junk.

The trick to Rain-X is to let it dry, buff the windshield let it dry some more, buff it again, let it dry and buff it again! Not really worth all that buffing if you ask me.

I DO like the green slime, thats why I carry it. It's the Fix-a-flat I hate. You should see what that stuff does to a rim.

I agree for the most part. You do need to make sure to put in limited slip additive if you have a limited slip diff.

I am not sure if the motor oils of today are the same as back a decade ago, but, back then you would not want to use any Pennsylvania crude oil based product in your engine 1 time, then any other oil product at a different time. if you did & then have to pull a valve cover, you would kick yourself, the sludge builds up & hardens after a time, almost like carbon & trying to remove it from the oil returns is close to impossible

Hey Remerson did all of that with the rainx stuff and still after a period of time it was like a haze on the windshield. Never use it again to flippin much work. Looks great on T.V. though.
