Default Advice on Projected Upgrade

I am looking for advice/guidance on a decent hitting SQ system.

This is what I am anticipating doing to my 2011 Crew Cab:

I have the stock RBZ HU. I have to keep it for various reasons. I already have on hand the following:

-Elemental Designs Nine.2 2-channel Amp, Alpine MFP-F250 4-channel Amp.

-Elemental Designs 11KV 10" sub (actually have two but only employing the one for this build...need the storage)

-Diamond Audio D660 6.5 Compnents

-I would like to run off the HU into an LC2i with Accubass
-From the LC2i to the ED Nine.2 to the sub
-From the LC2i to the Alpine F250 to the Diamonds in the front
-Possibly pick up either decent component set or 6x9 for the rear also ran off the Alpine
-Install Sub in driver side under seat box
-Mount everything behind the rear seat on a mounting board.

So that said do you guys see any holes in this logic, or plan?

I see no holes in your plan....simple but effective!

HOWEVER, I would personally ditch the LC2I and step up to a higher grade external processor. The only processing the LC2I has, is the ability to control or limit bass roll-off, and offer some sort of level matching capabilities which are both good things to have. BUT, for a little more coin...you could get so much more processing abilities.

Mosconi 6to8
Arc PS8
Rockford Fosgate 3sixty3
Audison Bit10
JBL MS-8
to name a few
Any one of those would send your system into a whole new level

Yes I got the same advice on another forum. I looked into those external processors, but man they are high!

Which one would you recommend on a tight budget?

On a tight budget, I would go with the JBL MS-8. They retail in the area of $479 +/-
Or the Rockford 3sixty3 which is the $599 range.

The deal with processors is everyone loves the one THEY have. All of them have characteristics that seperate themselves from one another...good or bad. Some are easier to use than others too. I have experience with all of them except the Audison which is a very good processor.
IMO the PS8 is king but it can get very intimidating to use simply because it has SO MUCH tuning ability...it can be overwhelming.

The JBL MS-8 has the best "auto eq" out them all BY FAR!!!
Which is nice, you simply run the auto eq function, the MS-8 takes into account all the details of your vehicle's interior and sets all eq automatically (most processors do this as well) but the MS-8 does it the best....that's a great feature for the guy who doesn't want to spend countless hours setting up their eq settings.
It also offers crossover points, slope settings, time alignment, phase controls, output levels per speaker, etc...
And the MS-8 has a remote controller so you can make adjustments on the fly.
Iam currently running the PS8, but that's a completely different animal.

A friend of mine added the JBL MS-8 to his wife's 2012 GMC Terrain which has a factory Pioneer stereo and then added a simple 8" subwoofer in the back. You would not believe the difference in sound quality, nor would you ever guess that she has factory speakers in her car....it sounds really good

If you ever buy a processor, you won't miss the money spent
