MAP sensor comes to mind. Input from MAP is used in open and closed loop operation. A warm engine will better tolerate a run-rich situation which is why it smooths out once warmed up, and maybe the O2 sensors are able to correct for it to a degree. Typically, when a MAP fails, it generates a rich condition. Anyway, it's where I'd start.

Did you try to disconnect the coolant temp sensor? disconnect the sensor then start the engine to see if there is a diffenence. You may have a bad cts.
